“Superwoman,” the title of the inspirational new song and video by international superstar Alicia Keys from her multi-platinum selling album, As I Am, provides the ideal stage setting for the Reverso Squadra Lady by Jaeger-LeCoultre.

In the video directed by Chris Robinson, in addition to herself, Alicia Keys plays the role of several different inspiring female characters ranging from an astronaut to Nefertiti, representing them and their spirit and strength. The Reverso Squadra Lady beautifully reflects the video’s concept by capturing this multi-faceted feminine universe with two faces in one watch.

Jaeger-LeCoultre wanted to offer women a Reverso Squadra Collection embodying the fundamentals of the iconic Reverso and its unique swivel case, while also bearing the distinctive characteristics of the Reverso Squadra line: a square case and resolute character, along with a powerful and immediately recognisable design.

Picture shows on left, the Reverso Squadra Lady Automatic: Loyal to the Reverso Squadra spirit, this feminine model features a silvered guilloché dial with a date indication cleverly inserted within the 6 o’clock numeral. A transparent case-back enables observers to admire the intricate mechanisms of time. A clever instant strap-change system enables the wearer to effect a quick and easy transformation.

On right, the Reverso Squadra World Chronograph: distinguished by its contemporary reversible titanium case. On the front, it displays the chronograph functions, the large date and the day/night indication. Meanwhile, the back reveals its most original asset with a central disc showcasing the time anywhere in the world: in the dial centre, the 24 time zones are symbolised by 24 cities and a 24-hour rotating ring enables one to read the time around the world. The Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Compressor Tourbillon Byblos watch is a new limited edition timepiece, which pays homage to the famous Hotel Byblos in Saint-Tropez. Offered in a series of 48 pieces, this sporty Jaeger-LeCoultre tourbillon watch features a case in a combination of titanium and platinum, a distinctive textured dial with sporty yellow accents, sapphire crystals on both sides, and a compression crown.

Jaeger-LeCoultre’s manufacture caliber 978B ticks securely inside the water resistant case. Self-winding, with a 48-hour power reserve, this movement incorporates a one-minute tourbillon with an extremely lightweight titanium carriage. Other notable complications include a 24-hour GMT indicator which can be set to a second time zone, and a pointer date display with a unique jumping function that prevents the tourbillon from being obscured from view.

The Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Compressor Tourbillon Byblos watch is completed by a leather strap whose texture and stitching mirrors the dial elements.

 The Jaeger-LeCoultre (JLC) Master Compressor Extreme World Chronograph is available in several different models, including platinum and stainless steel with bands ranging from bracelet, rubber, and leather.

The JLC Extreme World Chronograph features a patented shock absorber system that protects the movement from shock and vibrations. It also displays the time in 24 different time zones and an innovative strap changing system allows wristbands to be quickly and easily swapped out.

JLC used the caliber 752 automatic movement in the Master Compressor EWC. This movement is made up of 279 pieces and produces 28,800 vibrations per hour. It has a power reserve of 65 hours and 41 jewels.

Functions include hour, minutes, date, 24 time zones, chronograph, 60 and 30 second counters, a movement operating indicator, and hour counter.

The JLC EWC is water resistant to 100 meters.

Sporting, elegant and meeting all the demands of professional diver’s watches, they symbolise the union between the aquatic world and the feminine universe. This watch features two different variations: in a polished steel edition with guilloché dial and white/turquoise colour coding; and in pink gold with white/silvery colour coding. The central trapeze-shaped hands indicate the hours and minutes, whereas the time in the second time zone appears in a subdial at 9 o’clock adorned with a wind rose. Just opposite, at 3 o’clock, a sector enables one to read off the date shown on a pivoting disc featuring the same alternating colours as on the luminescent movement operating indicator. Driven by the Jaeger-LeCoultre Calibre 917D movement beating at 28,800 vibrations per hour, the Master Compressor diving GMT Lady is endowed with a 48-hour power reserve.

Master Compressor Diving Chronograph Lady

Equipped with Calibre 751D with a 65-hour power reserve, the Master Compressor Diving Chronograph Lady is fitted with a Jaeger-LeCoultre diving bezel set with diamonds and featuring characteristic touches of colour for the first 15 minutes of dive time. The hours and minutes as well as the chronograph seconds are indicated by central hands, whereas the other chronograph functions are displayed in two subdials: an hour counter at 9 o’clock and a 30- minute counter at 3 o’clock complete with the two-tone wind rose which is the signature feature of the Master Compressor Diving Line. The date appears through an aperture between 4 and 5 o’clock on a disc bearing turquoise transferred numerals against a white background.

The two new Master Compressor Diving Lady watches are sports watches in the fullest sense of the term. They provide eloquent proof that a highly technical instrument may also be an exquisitely elegant piece of jewellery that inevitably becomes an indispensable companion in discovering far-flung horizons and ocean depths.

The new Squadra watches have become the first ever square-shaped timepieces to join Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso collection that traditionally comprised watches with rectangular proportions. The Squadra line pays tribute to the sports origins of the reversible watch related to polo.

The Reverso Squadra line has been enlarged by two new models released in a limited edition of 500 pieces in 18K gold:

    * the Reverso Squadra Hometime Black, the indispensable timekeeping device for travelers;
    * the Reverso Squadra Chronograph GMT Black, the sports watch able to measure performance times.

The Reverso Squadra Hometime Black created as an ideal travel watch is housed in a steel case. It is provided with the Hometime/Travel time system, exclusively developed and patented by the Jaeger-LeCoultre manufacture.

The timepiece displays the reference time by a red openwork hand that is an immediate reminder of the time in the place of residence of the watch’s owner. There is a rectangular aperture positioned at 9 o’clock for displaying the am/pm indication, a useful feature for a traveler shifting time zones. The symmetrically placed opening found directly opposite at 3 o’clock is showing the travel time.

The Reverso Squadra Hometime Black is equipped with the in-house mechanical Calibre 977 movement. The mechanism offers a number of technical innovations. The balance-bridge is screwed on either side to the mainplate. It provides enhanced stability. There are also two catches necessary to keep the mainspring away from any distortion of the mainspring.

The Reverso Squadra Chronograph GMT Black stands out due to its distinctive black-coated crown and push-pieces on the stainless steel or 18K pink gold case. The timepiece’s sporting nature is reflected through its chronograph function, maintaining the best traditions of the brand.

The watch shows the hours and minutes on the main dial. The second time zone is represented through a 24-hour display visible through an aperture at 6 o’clock. There are two other square-shaped counters for the chronograph indications’ readings - minutes at 3 o’clock and hours at 9 o’clock. The big date window found at 12 o’clock is related to the first time zone. The chronograph seconds hand, the number 12 in the hour counter and the 30 in the minute counter are accented with the red color.

The Reverso Squadra Chronograph GMT Black is an elegantly designed watch characterized by utmost legibility. In the heart of the timepiece there beats the Jaeger-LeCoultre Calibre 754 offering 65-hour power reserve. The watch is water-resistant to 5 atmospheres.
