It looks like the new member of the ultra-large Oris Regulateur family is not a child of the marketing department but is indeed a professional diver’s timepiece. Or even the professional diver’s timepiece, because not a single legally sane person will wear such a huge watch going to office or school. On the other hand, a watch this large may be really good under water with poor lighting conditions.

How big is it? Well, Oris says that its Regulateur Der Meistertaucher diver’s watch features a massive case of 49mm in diameter and 15.25mm in height with a total water displacement of 565.2mm³. The dial is also really big and with lots of dark orange Superluminova inlays on indexes and hands the watch must be legible even in the extremely dark environments.

The screwed crown and a screwed helium escape valve make this watch waterproof up to 100bar / 1000 meters. So, you see, the watch is serious indeed.
